The noble Prudent Women Cooperative is a leading women-based cooperative that stands as a beacon of integrity, empowerment, and godly purpose. Founded by the visionary leader, Evangelist Mrs. Msurshima Comfort Chenge, the Cooperative was officially registered and began operations on 1 February 2020 in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria.
Born during the heat of the global COVID-19 pandemic, a period of economic hardship and uncertainty, the Cooperative emerged as a godly response to uplift women and children facing financial distress. In just five years, the Prudent Women Cooperative has remained steadfast in its mission to empower women spiritually, socially, and financially through soft loans, grants, tools, and mentorship opportunities that transform lives and strengthen communities.

Three ways to save and three ways to borrow — all built on the same principle: the more consistently you save, the more the cooperative can do for you.
Prudent Women Loans
Save 30% of what you need, stay a member six months, and bring a guarantor. Interest is flat and deducted at source — nothing compounds behind your back.
From joining to your first loan

Register
Pay the one-off ₦1,000 fee and you are a lifetime member of the Cooperative.

Start saving
A minimum of ₦2,000, at least once a month. Save daily, weekly or monthly — whatever suits your income.

Build your record
After six months of consistent saving, and once you hold 30% of what you want to borrow, you qualify.
- 04
Borrow and grow
Apply with a guarantor. Repayment begins the month after disbursement, at 10% flat interest.

When the Lord gave me the vision for the Prudent Women Cooperative, my goal was to create a platform where women could rise above financial crisis, fear, lack, and limitation. Thanks be to God, we have watched uncounted women become business owners, housewives become investors, and discouraged women find new faith in themselves and in God. Many women now own houses, lands, and cars. This Cooperative is not just about money, it is about transformation, dignity, and destiny.
